TIME.com put out a list of the Top 100 Olympic Athletes to Watch. Some notable names on the list are:
- 1. LeBron James
- 2. Dara Torres
- 5. Yao Ming
- 7-17. People I’ve never heard of
- 33. Kobe Bryant
Okay, maybe I have a Kobe Bryant/Lakers bias going, but I can’t imagine people wanting to watch Sara Khoshjamal (who? exactly) or Pascal Hens (huh?) over The Black Mamba. I guess times have changed when Tae Kwan Doe and Handball players are gaining more recognition than an NBA player who is arguably the most popular active athlete today.

Move over Tommy “Hitman” Hearns, Mike Tyson apparently wants your nickname. The oft troubled Tyson has reportedly been accused of financing a “hit” on a gang member suspected of killing his bodyguard Darryl “Homicide” Baum in 2000. Former Cash Money Brothers gang member Dwayne Myers testified today that Tyson allegedly put up a $50,000 “hit” contract in retaliation to the murder. Anybody surprised? This after all is coming from the man who once said, and I quote, “I’ll EAT your children!”
No statements have been released by Tyson nor his attorney.

Mike Wilbon was all smiles last night at the Lakers post party celebration. The co-host of ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption wasn’t allowing for any interruptions as his eyes and attention appeared well occupied on Playboy model and Girl Next Door, Kendra Wilkinson. And he wasn’t the only one with his hands full. Check out more pics of the ESPN crew mixing it up with the world of porn.
