Peyton Manning’s streak of 227 consecutive NFL starts will come to an end this Sunday. The four-time MVP underwent his third neck surgery in the past 19 months and might be out for 2-3 months, maybe even the entire season.
What is really scary though, is some reports say a surgery like the last one might be career-threatening and the Colts just signed Manning to a five-year, $90 million dollar contract extension.
How will the Colts go without their franchise quarterback will be intriguing, as they prepare to play their first game without Manning in 14 NFL seasons against the Houston Texans.
