Rewind back to last summer and it looked as if Kobe Bryant would be wearing any jersey other than the Purple and Gold for the 2007-2008 NBA season. Fast forward to May 7th, 2008 and there you see Kobe Bryant standing in the middle of the Staples Center with the NBA Commissioner David Stern, being awarded the 2007-2008 NBA Most Valuable Player.

As a life long Laker fan, nothing brings me more joy than seeing Kobe “Bean” Bryant receive an award that he should have received years ago. It finally seems that the media has forgiven Kobe of his Eagle, Colorado incident. Now it’s up to me to forgive him for the birth of his baby chim..I mean girl.
